LORMAN - This weekend is filled with tons of excitement as six of Alcorn State sports prepare to compete across the southern region the United States.

Mobile, Ala. - Only two weeks after the indoor season ended, the Alcorn State Men's and Women's Track and Field teams were back in action to open the 2014 outdoor season at the South Alabama Jaguar Opener yesterday afternoon.

Another exciting weekend approaches this weekend as six of Alcorn State's 17 sports will be competing this weekend.

Birmingham, AL - The Alcorn State men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the Samford Invitational this weekend at the Birmingham Crossplex.

Houston, Texas - The first indoor track and field meet of 2014 for the Alcorn State Men's and Women's Track and Field teams is in the books. Both teams participated in Howie Ryan Invitational hosted by the University of Houston.
