In 2012, the Alcorn State Women's Cross Country shot up to 3rd place and were only a few points runner-up Mississippi Valley and SWAC Champion Alabama State.  Last season the Lady Braves didn't fare so well placing 7th at the SWAC Championships.

Last season was up and down for the Alcorn State Men's Cross Country team and with only six runners the Braves battled a few injuries, dealt with the heat, and struggled at some meets. They managed to place 8th at the 2013 SWAC Cross Country Champions...
